Please note before reading, that while I am teaching my kids, I am also human and may make grammatical errors in my writing. When I blog, I like to write as if I’m explaining in a conversational manner. I sometimes write quickly, sometimes squeezing time in between lessons, or among screaming children in my ear. I'm okay if you silently correct my grammar, but do it silently. This is the age of the internet where you will see many errors on social media.
We learned about the Peloponnesian War this week. The girls really didn't like the Spartans. Their opinion of them was that they were very mean and had nothing to live for in their lives. However, they really enjoyed designing their own war helmet. This was such an easy, fun project for them. All it takes is a bicycle helmet, toothpicks, and play dough.
